Community Outreach

Thompson’s® WaterSeal® is “on deck” with a helping hand for great causes like these!

Big Brothers and Big Sisters

At more than 100 years old, Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network. The organization makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. As part of a national promotion, Thompson's® WaterSeal® donated thousands of baseballs autographed by legends of the sport including Nolan Ryan, Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra and Brooks Robinson to help encourage “Littles” to “stay in the game"!

Hole In The Wall Gang

The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp was established in 1988 by actor Paul Newman as a place for sick children to experience the joys of an old-fashioned summer camp – free-of-charge. Today, the camp serves children diagnosed with cancer, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, hemophilia, metabolic illnesses and other blood diseases. A donation of 900 brand-new Coleman brand lanterns helps ensure that the fun can go on into the night for these special campers.

Pacific Marine Mammal Center

The Pacific Marine Mammal Center rescues, rehabilitates and releases sick and injured seals and sea lions in Southern California, along with researching conditions that affect these creatures. Through a sponsorship pledge from Thompson's® WaterSeal®, five animals were saved, nursed back to health and returned to their ocean home.
